Food Justice 11" x 14"

This piece was inspired by the food justice programs created by the Black Panther Party to uplift the black community through access to healthy food and feeding children.

The women seated wear dresses with Adinkra symbols of West Africa, the symbols represent God's protection/presence and wisdom of learning from the past to build for the future.
